More BLOOD!!!

Umm.. What a quiet and cool night. It's 3 o'clock in the morning. Writing blog with the windows open at 9th floor after watching some bloody anime sure to bring you some eerie feeling. I'm talking about a new CLAMPxBLOOD series, Blood C.

There so many fans dislike this BLOOD series. I don't know why. Maybe they find out that Blood+ is better and this show is just a crap (in this case BloodCrap). Then, they start to compare which is good and which is not, complaining about how bad this series are yet still watching the anime. However I think that this show is so great! Well, another great product from CLAMP in category super-complex anime. It keep my 'psycho' personality turned on. Basically, its blood everywhere and human extermination is so extreme. If this is a live-action show and the film follows the anime story line and extermination visual effect, you will be puked out by the time the film wasn't finish.
(That what she says)

OK, lets just go through to the synopsis. It's about a girl named Kisaragi Saya, a normal school student who have an super-body ability (i.e. agility, speed, fast healing) and have a sword (no name, just a sword and finally you will realize that the sword isn't important at all). She's being a student by day and killing monster by night to
protect the 'village' (and the village is evil, seriously). When she wanted to kill a monster, and at a certain rate her eyes will change to cat-eyed like, red color. The story line is somewhat average but I like the character design and the school uniform. (I think thats why Saya hunts monster wearing that uniform). Try to watch the anime and tell me your comments about the anime)

A little bit about the story line, from episode 1 to 5, there's not much development going on. Saya go to school and at night, she kills the monster. Reaching episode 6, that when the fun starts. The monster started to consume on humans and the rate increased fast. There is always blood shower since then. It's so red and so FUN! (insert evil laugh here) and the final 2 episodes filled with complex information boom. Watch out!

And, not to forget, about the censorship, some people says the censorship is sometime annoying, some says it's necessary. For me, the censorship is just an intentional effect used by them to make viewers think that the  killing is so violence that they shouldn't watch and make the viewer imagine what's beyond the cersored scene. Nice jobs guys.

ARRRRGGGGHH!!! STOP SING
THAT GODDAMN SONG!!
Favourite Character
Of course, Saya will be my waifu favourite character. Some details about her; she is a shrine maiden (+1), she also a students (+1) and finally she is a chiropteran slayer that loves blood shower (+infinity) Her eye glance is deadly, the fighting style is fast, accurate yet deadly at a slash of the sword. The hairstyle is kinda unique yet so weird. But, her singing sucks. Seriously. And, she likes coffee just like me. Hehehe...

And there is another one. Fumito Nanahara, the owner of Cafe Guimauve. A very kind person, likes to make Saya's breakfast and lunch. But not so kind since he is the main antagonist for this anime (you will know it at episode 11) and the grand manager for the experiment. (What experiments? hmm..not telling you guys..)

General Design Overview
Fast and accurate precision is needed for a fighter like Saya and CLAMP had provided the best natural body movement. The body swing, human butchery effects is so violence and so logic. You can see the best natural body movement at the final episode when she battle against her fake father.

More BLOOD! Yeah!
Warning for you guys, this anime is so violence (but not as violent as Highschool of The Dead due to quite heavy censorship and less chaotic situation). But them still manages to grab my attention.

(P/S: You can see the monster are making human-blended drinks at the final episode. Scary.. Scary..)

Music
OP : Spiral by Dustz
ED : Junketsu Paradox by Nana Mizuki

The OP is my favorite since the anime started.
The OST will keep you feel the sensation of suspense and fear throughout the series. No fast-paced fighting music, but there is a signature sound from all OST in this anime like usual and the OST's used is not much.

Conclusion
Love bloodshed? Love CLAMP? Love violent human extermination? Then you should watch this anime. The story line isn't so great but the the complexity manage to attract me. This is my first BLOOD series that I've watched. I might plan to watch Blood+ later.

And lastly, there is an OVA planned to be released on June 2012.

Human-blended drinks anyone?
